Shipping Damage
This project started after my MIB CCP Godzilla '95 was shipped to my customer and showed up with one of the LED light assemblies knocked out of place. It was shipped during one of the recent hot weeks on the east coast and the heat loosened the upper chest LED unit causing it to fall out of its yellow lamp socket. Once the figure was returned to me, I gently warmed up the figure with a hair dryer and removed one of the legs. This allowed access to the yellow vinyl chest assembly which holds two of the four LED light units in place. With some additional heat, the yellow piece was flexible enough to be removed, allowing the loose light unit to be reinstalled. To preclude further problems like this, I added small spots of acrylic caulk to each light unit to lock them in place yet still allow light unit removal should the batteries eventually wear out.

Battery Replacement
Each of the four LED light units have three LR 1130 watch button batteries, all locked together within a clear plastic tube. To prevent the spring switch from constantly turning on the lights while working on the unit, you can temporarily slide a piece of plastic tubing over the spring contact post as shown below. Also, make sure that you insert the batteries with the proper polarity (the battery numbers need to be against the lower part of the metallic battery case once installed).

The batteries last a long time but hopefully these instructions will help someone if they ever need to be replaced!
