Atragon PosterThe toy wizards of the premiere Japanese toy factory M1-Ichi Go have created yet another really cool set of vinyl figures, this time depicting the scene from the 1963 Toho Company Ltd film "Kaitei Gunkan (aka "Atragon" - USA release), wherein the colorful Manda dragon wraps itself in a death grip around the amazing submarine Atragon.
 
Made from very thick vinyl, Manda is composed of six rotatable sections which allows it to be posed in the realistic semi-circular position around the sub.  Both figures are quite large with Manda about 26 inches long and Atragon running 13 inches from drill bit to stern.

As you can see, the Manda is painted in a beautiful metallic
blue green and gold which blends quite stunningly with
the realistic details of the Atragon submarine.

The combined picture of the Manda and Atragon are of the two figures in my own collection.  This sale however is for a complete set with both figures still secured in their bags with header cards, all MIB.
